A list of essentials is provided below as helpful suggestions. The weather tends to be hot and sunny. Be prepared for wind, dust and cheatgrass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you NEED to bring:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tent (personal tent \u2013 low profile is best in case of wind \u2013 and tent stakes)<\/li><li>Sleeping bag, pillow and sleeping pad or cot<\/li><li>Toiletries \u2013 toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hair ties etc (We do not supply them for you)<\/li><li>Towels (for bathing and swimming)<\/li><li>Long pants<\/li><li>Shorts<\/li><li>T-shirts or tank tops<\/li><li>Long sleeve shirts or sweatshirts<\/li><li>Socks (for hiking)<\/li><li>Underwear<\/li><li>Swim suit<\/li><li>Leather hiking boots or tennis shoes<\/li><li>Shower shoes (flip flops)<\/li><li>Sleepwear<\/li><li>Jacket and warm hat (for rain or cool evenings)<\/li><li>Sun hat<\/li><li>Sunscreen<\/li><li>Water bottle<\/li><li>Notebook<\/li><li>Pencil\/pen<\/li><li>Flash drive<\/li><li>Folding chair<\/li><li>Flashlight or headlamp and batteries<\/li><li>Personal medications (Epinephrine pen (if needed), Ibuprofen, or other)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bathroom facilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our main bathroom facilities have running water and showers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Food<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All regular meals are provided as well as some snacks. Please be sure to have a refillable water bottle or camelback to use during the day. You may also bring additional snacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optional things to bring<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Water shoes (recommended for rafting)<\/li><li>Personal flotation device for swimming and rafting (we do supply them, but you can bring one you are comfortable with)<\/li><li>Small backpack<\/li><li>Chapstick<\/li><li>Camera<\/li><li>Bug spray<\/li><li>Sunglasses<\/li><li>Fishing gear and license<\/li><li>Work gloves<\/li><li>Games for the evening (cards, frisbee, balls or other portable games that can survive dust and dirt)<\/li><li>Musical instrument<\/li><li>Personal snacks<\/li><li>Lotion<\/li><li>Razor<\/li><li>Headphones<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cell service<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can bring your cellular devices but note that there is no service.
