Swipe Out Hunger at EOU

ASEOU has partnered with Sodexo and Swipe Out Hunger to fight student food insecurity. Sodexo has provided meals to establish a Meal Swipe Bank for food insecure students. Students may donate and request swipes by using the forms linked below. Once meal swipes are distributed from the Meal Swipe Bank to those students’ ID cards, those meals can be redeemed simply by swiping in at Mountie Cafe.

Donate Meals

Sodexo and ASEOU are partnering with Swipe out Hunger for donations of Meal Swipes to combat food insecurity in our community. Donated Meal Swipes will be provided to students that are food insecure or struggling to find their next meal. Your donations will go directly to fellow Eastern Oregon University Students. Follow the link above and fill out the form to donate you unused swipes to students in need.

Request Meals

Swipe Out Hunger is a program that lets students apply for donated meal swipes free of charge. Meal swipes will be placed on your student ID card, just like a regular meal plan would. There is a maximum request of 5 meal swipes, but you can apply multiple times per term if needed. The first request is no questions asked and will be given automatically, any additional requests may require more information on your circumstance in order to best provide you with the resources that might be available.
