This will allow us to track the number of students we need vans for and let Residence Life know who will be moving early into the dorms. \nStudents flying in on August 30 will have a couple of days to catch up on sleep\, get settled\, and adjust to the time change before all other Summer Bridge students check in on the afternoon of September 2. \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Summer Bridge officially kicks off today with check in outside of Daugherty Hall between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. \nAll students should plan to come by the Summer Bridge welcome desk during this time to meet mentors and staff\, pick up your packets\, and get a run down of this first afternoon and evening’s schedule. \nStudents moving in to the dorms today must check in with Summer Bridge before proceeding to Residence Life to get your keys and move-in paperwork. You will have until 5:00 p.m. to unload and unpack before opening session at 5:00 (and then dinner at 6:00\, and then a mandatory Residence Life meeting at 7:00 p.m.). \nResidence Life unfortunately can not begin their check in process any earlier than 1:00 p.m. If you arrive on campus before 1:00\, you’re welcome to have lunch in the Hoke Union Building and watch us run around getting last minute details taken care of. You might also want to use the time to do any of the following you haven’t had a chance to yet: \n\nGet your EOU ID card from the IT office in Ackerman Hall\nSchedule an appointment with your academic advisor to discuss fall classes\nTake math and writing placement tests\, if needed\nVisit the EOU bookstore to see which books you’ll need fall term\nVisit the Financial Aid office or Student Financial Services in Inlow Hall for any questions about billing or disbursement of financial aid\nStop by the Career Services Center in Inlow to ask about campus jobs\nCheck that Admissions has received your final official transcripts\nHead into town and set up a local bank account if you need one\nRelax.
