International students enrolled at Eastern Oregon University are required to purchase International Student Health Insurance for the fall, winter, and spring\/summer terms. EOU partners with Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk to provide this coverage for actively enrolled students. You can review their plan benefits and rates in the brochure provided by PURMIT (Public Universities Risk Management & Insurance Trust).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n In certain circumstances, International Student Health Insurance may be waived upon proof of a comparable student health insurance plan. Due to this exclusion, the student health insurance plan provided by Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk does not<\/strong> satisfy the primary insurance requirement for participation in EOU Intercollegiate Athletics. Staff in the Athletics Department can provide student-athletes information about alternative insurance for the term they are involved in intercollegiate athletics. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
