{"id":471,"date":"2019-11-07T19:27:47","date_gmt":"2019-11-07T19:27:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eou.edu\/safety-security\/?page_id=471"},"modified":"2026-04-08T23:12:48","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T23:12:48","slug":"parking-services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/safety-security\/parking-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Parking Services"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Campus Parking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are <strong>&#8216;dedicated&#8217;<\/strong> parking spaces in every lot for students, faculty, and staff.&nbsp; These spaces are clearly marked with signs and are available on a <code>first-come-first-served<\/code> basis.&nbsp; Purchasing a permit for the year or the term allows you to park in an appropriate dedicated parking space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EOU parking permits are required on all campus streets and in all campus parking lots.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Most parking regulations are enforced Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.&nbsp; Some, like ADA spaces, are enforced 24\/7, 365 days a year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EOU parking permits are not required on weekends or holidays except around the resident halls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permits are required around the resident halls at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EOU permits are not required to park outside the boundaries of campus or in the Community Stadium parking lot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Types of parking permits available for purchase<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-eastern-navy-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/student-financial-services\/parking-permits\/\" style=\"border-radius:4px\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Order A Parking Pass<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><strong>Annual Parking Pass: $<\/strong><\/strong>92<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Term Parking Pass: $<\/strong>54\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Permit holders are able to park in spaces dedicated to faculty (EOU faculty only), staff (all other employees), or students, depending on which category best describes you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permit holders are also able to park in any general space (non-signed).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Annual and term permit holders may not park in reserved spaces or in the east Badgley parking lot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Annual Reserved Parking Space: $3<\/strong>51\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will be assigned a space that is yours and it will be marked with a sign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may not park in <strong>any<\/strong> other space unless the one that is assigned to you has another vehicle parked in it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If someone is parked in your space, call Security and we will investigate and take appropriate enforcement action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please contact <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/student-financial-services\/\" target=\"_blank\">Student Financial Services<\/a> in Inlow Hall 101 for more information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>One Day Parking Permit: $2<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These are available from the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/student-financial-services\/\" target=\"_blank\">Student Financial Services office (Inlow 101)<\/a> or from the parking kiosk in front of Loso Hall.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These permits allow parking in any general space in any lot but do not allow you to park in a reserved space or in a dedicated faculty space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Daily permits are also valid for all spaces marked &#8220;visitor&#8221; and also allow you to park in any of the spaces located in the center of the east Badgley parking lot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Parking Citations &amp; Appeals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Parking citations are issued Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fine for parking without a permit is $30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An appeal of a parking citation may be submitted to the director of campus security at <a href=\"mailto:security@eou.edu\">security@eou.edu<\/a> for review.
