The Residence Life conduct philosophy is rooted in learning and accountability. We believe students are capable of growth, reflection, and positive change. When community standards are not met, our response focuses on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Encouraging personal responsibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding impacts on others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repairing harm when possible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting individual and community well-being<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our approach is not designed to be purely punitive. Instead, it is guided by fairness, care, and a commitment to student development. We recognize that each student brings unique experiences, identities, and perspectives to campus. We aim to balance each situation with that understanding and desire to promote a safe environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students participating in the conduct process can expect fundamental rights, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clear notice of concerns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The opportunity to share their perspective<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A fair and impartial review of information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ability to have an advisor present<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The opportunity to appeal decisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultimately, Residence Life conduct is about strengthening our community.
