Kayla is a watercolor artist who began her career by painting and exhibiting images of the sacred feminine. In 1998 she began painting Tibetan thankas, which are traditional forms of Buddhist iconic art. She primarily works on commission for clients across the USA. The most recent exhibition of prints of her commissioned thankas was at Christie’s in New York City.
Kayla taught at JFK University from 1987 through 1994 and began teaching at EOU in 2006.

David Komito has taught at the University of Massachusetts, Wesleyan University (CT), John F. Kennedy University and the University of San Francisco. He began teaching at EOU in 2005.
David’s principal interests are the Psychology of Religion, Madhyamaka Philosophy and Anuttarayogatantra in Tibetan Buddhism
