Adding:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the first week of the term students may add on-line via web registration Mountie Hub<\/a>. During the second through the fourth week of the term, students may add classes at the discretion of the instructor. Students must provide a completed registration form along with an instructor’s signature or email approval. Starting the fifth week, or if the class is full, only the College Dean may approve exceptions. Requests for exceptions may be brought to the Deans only upon the instructor’s prior approval of the request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No class may be added after the end of the regular instructional period under any circumstances. [Meaning, no courses may be added during finals week or after the end of the term.]<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dropping:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

See the Drop\/Withdrawal Refund Schedule<\/a> on the Student Financial Services website.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A student may drop from a course for any reason with no record on the student’s transcript before the end of the 4th week of the term. If a student is unable to drop through Mountie Hub, they may submit a Registration Form<\/a> to the Registrar’s Office. Thereafter, a student must withdraw from the course (see withdrawal policy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*EOU summer refund dates listed above are for the full 10 week term courses. Some summer course offerings have different refund dates based on the times the courses are offered. See the Summer Calendar under the drop down on the Academic Calendar<\/a> page for the courses that are less than 10 weeks in length and their refund dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students dropping after the 1st week of the term may also be subject to tuition and fee penalties. Drop fees will be assessed starting the 2nd week of the term through the end of the drop period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Withdrawing:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are three types of withdrawals:<\/strong>
Withdrawal from a Course:<\/strong>
A student may withdraw from an individual course from Saturday after Week 4 through Friday of Week 10 (the Friday before finals week). A grade of \u201cW\u201d will be recorded on the student\u2019s transcript.
Withdrawal from All Courses:<\/strong>
A student may withdraw from all registered courses at any time during the term through Friday of Week 10 (the Friday before finals week).
Withdrawal from the University:<\/strong>
A student may withdraw from the University at any time during the term through Friday of Week 10 (the Friday before finals week) by completing the Registration Form and submitting it to add.drop@eou.edu<\/a> with a request to withdraw from all courses.

Cancellation (Cancel Registration) Policy:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Eastern Oregon University does not cancel a student’s registration unless requested by the student through their advisor. Class registration obligates students pay tuition and fees and receive grades. Students who have never attended class and have not paid any tuition or fees may cancel their registration up to the end of the first week of class(es). Students need to work with their advisor to cancel their registration. Students who do not pay tuition and fees, and who do not cancel their registration, will be responsible for payment and for grades. For information about fees, see the Student Financial Services Website<\/a>. Please contact your advisor with questions regarding cancelled registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
