Hometown: Dayville, Ore.
Major: Biology
Why did you apply to become an ASTEO Scholar?
“I applied because it is an amazing opportunity to launch a career in the sciences. I am encouraged by the relationships that I will build, and my hope is that these connections will present opportunities to gain experience in the field of biology, as well as expand my horizons into other fields of science. These collaborations will broaden my perspective while teaching me new ways to think about problems and solutions.”
What are you looking forward to the most at EOU?
“Meeting students with similar interests and engaging in multiple research projects.”
