LA GRANDE, Ore. (EOU) – A Veterans Day Remembrance Ceremony is planned for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12 at EOU.
The program will be held outside near the flagpole at the Hallmark Rose Garden on University Boulevard between Pierce Library and Badgley Hall. All are welcome to attend.
EOU President Bob Davies and Lt. Col. Richard McKim will give remarks and Jim Lundy will deliver the invocation.
Students Lindsay Martin and Emily Rufener will sing a duet of the National Anthem and the Union VFW Post will conduct the flag raising.
EOU will be open and classes will be held as scheduled for the day.
