May 18, 2018 La Grande, Ore. — Eastern Oregon University’s Board of Trustees will discuss plans for the Rural Engagement and Vitality (REV) Center, among other topics, at its regular meeting May 24 in La Grande.
The agenda includes a presentation from Assistant Athletics Director Stephanie Upshaw about the department’s strategic plan. Next, trustees will recognize outgoing members of the board, including the faculty and student representatives.
Richard Chaves, who chairs the Finance and Administration Committee, will lead discussion of the quarterly management report, followed by a presentation of next year’s budget.
In the afternoon, trustees will hear from Vice President for University Advancement Tim Seydel regarding updates to EOU’s strategic brand messaging. Finally, Donald Wolff, Vice Provost for Academic Quality will report on upcoming accreditation events.
The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Dixie Lund Board Room, Inlow Hall 201, and is open to the public. Written comments to the board will be accepted within 48 hours of the meeting.
