LA GRANDE, Ore. December 16, 2016 – College Choice has ranked Eastern Oregon University’s online bachelor’s in business administration degree among the top 50 best programs in the country.
The independent online publication takes into account reputation, affordability, return on investment and accessibility when compiling the annual list by collating the average credit hour cost, amount of financial aid students receive, academic reputation of the university and PayScale’s average early career salary for the school’s graduates.
“Our faculty and students are to be congratulated as they make a great contribution to our college’s online program,” said Dan Mielke, interim dean of EOU’s College of Business. “Dedicated instruction and successful student outcomes help our institutional visibility and promote recognition as an affordable and quality online program.”
Online tuition at EOU is $218 per credit hour, with a differential of $10.50 per credit assessed for undergraduate business courses. Some for-profit institutions in Oregon and across the country are charging an average of $385 per credit, so the savings students realize is significant. More than $12 million in scholarships and financial aid is also awarded annually to university students.
This newest ranking follows EOU’s recent distinction as a best value program in 2017 published by DiscoverBusiness.us.
