August 30, 2019 LA GRANDE, Ore. – Two annual events return this fall to showcase La Grande businesses and organizations on Eastern Oregon University’s campus.
First, the Student Activities Fair, held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 27 in the EOU Quad, highlights on- and off-campus activities for college students in La Grande. The Center for Student Involvement coordinates this welcome-back event on the third day of classes to inform new and returning students about resources, businesses, and other opportunities to get involved.

About a month later, on Oct. 23, the Human Resources Office hosts its Employee Wellness Fair in the Gilbert Event Center on campus. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and attracts state employees from a variety of agencies in town.
Local businesses and groups related to health and wellness can participate as vendors for no charge, but space is limited. Register by Sept. 6 to be included in advertising materials or by Oct. 1 to secure a spot. EOUs assistant professor, Brooke Stout, MSA, CPA EOUs assistant professor, Brooke Stout, MSA, CPA was notified during the monthly College of Business meeting by Dr. Pat Hafford, IACBE President and Dr. Phyllis Okrepkie IACBE Vice President of Operations on Wednesday April 6, 2022, that she is this year’s recipient.
