2018 Student Activities FairLocal businesses invited to meet students, employees this fall

August 30, 2019 LA GRANDE, Ore. – Two annual events return this fall to showcase La Grande businesses and organizations on Eastern Oregon University’s campus.

First, the Student Activities Fair, held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 27 in the EOU Quad, highlights on- and off-campus activities for college students in La Grande. The Center for Student Involvement coordinates this welcome-back event on the third day of classes to inform new and returning students about resources, businesses, and other opportunities to get involved.

More information is available at eou.edu/csi/fair or by contacting Le Bailey at lbailey@eou.edu. Registration is due by Sept. 25.

About a month later, on Oct. 23, the Human Resources Office hosts its Employee Wellness Fair in the Gilbert Event Center on campus. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and attracts state employees from a variety of agencies in town.

Local businesses and groups related to health and wellness can participate as vendors for no charge, but space is limited.
