EOU’s campus and offices will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1.

LA GRANDE, Ore. (EOU) ⎯ Eastern Oregon University will close during the holidays beginning Monday, Dec. 24 and will reopen for business Wednesday, Jan. 2.
The scheduled closure falls during winter break for enrolled students and is part of the energy saving measures outlined in EOU’s sustainability plan.
Essential services such as campus security will continue to operate, and facilities and security staff are the only university employees required to work during the closure.
Winter term classes begin Jan. 7.

When the FDA fully approves one or more of the COVID-19 vaccines, Eastern Oregon University will require vaccination for students and employees who work, learn and engage with the main campus. Accommodations will be available for medical and non-medical exemptions.Read more
