Oct. 29, 2018 LA GRANDE, Ore. – Students in Chemeketa Community College’s Health, Human Performance and Athletics program just gained a freshly paved pathway to a bachelor’s degree.
The college’s new partnership with Eastern Oregon University introduces a smooth transition from the associate degree program into EOU’s Physical Activity and Health major.
“We are excited to expand our relationship with EOU and offer our students at Chemeketa a clear path to a degree in the Physical Activity and Health fields at EOU,” said Nathan Pratt, an instructor of Health and Human Performance at CCC.
The transfer agreement is one of almost two dozen that EOU holds with community colleges and organizations. Regional centers across the state provide direct support to online and transfer students.
“It is our mission to enable transfer students to reach their educational goals and this agreement will help assure that many Chemeketa students will do just that,” David Vande Pol, Executive Director of Regional Outreach and Innovation said.
