November 15, 2013 LA GRANDE, Ore. (EOU) – The Eastern Oregon University Jazz Ensemble’s annual fall concert is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 in McKenzie Theatre in Loso Hall.
Matt Cooper, professor of music, directs the 11-member group open to EOU students playing any instrument, including voice.
On the program are works by Thelonious Monk, Eddie Harris, Oliver Nelson, Tom Harrell and Thad Jones.
Admission is free with donations accepted to support jazz studies activities at the university.
