LA GRANDE, Ore. March 24, 2017 – First-year honor students at Eastern Oregon University have recommended 18 educators from Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington to receive Inspirational Teacher Awards.
First term freshmen who attained dean’s list honors for fall term 2016 were given the opportunity to nominate a high school teacher who influenced them on their road to higher education and academic excellence. EOU presents the Inspirational Teacher Awards annually in recognition of outstanding high school teachers who encourage and represent the importance of higher education to their students.
Inspirational Teacher Awards have been presented to the following teachers based on nominations from fall term 2016 dean’s list freshmen:
