Dr. Stacy Whitaker
January 11, 2012 LA GRANDE, Ore. (EOU) – Stacy Whitaker, D.O., will be the next presenter for the EOU Health Speaker Series Thursday, January 12. Students and community members are invited to attend the free presentation at 6 p.m. in Badgley Hall, Room 102.
Currently practicing at Grande Ronde Hospital Women’s Clinic, Dr. Whitaker’s professional areas of interest include general obstetrics, gynecology and gynecological surgery. She completed her undergraduate degree in science, biology and chemistry at Montana State University-Northern and her medical doctorate at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. Her internship and residency was conducted at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan.
The speaker series is presented by EOU and the Northeast Oregon Area Health Education Center to provide students interested in pursuing healthcare careers the opportunity to hear first-hand experiences from members of the area medical community. One presentation each month will be held through spring term.
