Feb. 13, 2020 LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University and its faculty union, Associated Academic Professionals AFT Local 6200, reached a tentative agreement Feb. 11 on a contract, with the assistance of an Oregon Employment Relations Board mediator.
Negotiations began in January 2019 and centered around several issues, including salary and work conditions. Both parties were committed to reaching a mutual agreement and working together to reach a settlement.
The Tentative Agreement will need to be published for a minimum of 15 days before the union membership votes on approval and ratification. If approved, the contract will be in effect through June 2022.
