Oct. 16, 2018 LA GRANDE, Ore. – A variety of health and wellness representatives from local and state organizations will be on campus Oct. 23 for the Employee Wellness Fair at Eastern Oregon University.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., staff and faculty members can peruse medical providers, retirement options and other services. Red Cross Drug will be providing flu shots for all employees who present their insurance card. Spouses and dependents are also eligible for the vaccine free of charge.
“It’s a great all-in-one spot to go through at your own pace and talk with companies in-person to ask your questions,” said Jacque Naegle, who coordinates the event as assistant director of EOU’s Human Resources office. “We want to make sure employees know about the local services that are available.”
Naegle and other Human Resources staff will also be on-hand to answer questions about Open Enrollment, which closes Oct. 31.
For more information about this event or other employee wellness services, contact Human Resources at 541-962-3087 or jnaegle@eou.edu.
