LA GRANDE, Ore. (EOU) – Amanda Villagómez, Ed.D., assistant professor of education, is sharing her qualitative research into online instruction for the next colloquium Thursday, Jan. 28 at Eastern Oregon University.
“Teach Like a Learner: Online Instruction with the Learners in Mind” begins at 4 p.m. in Ackerman Hall, Room 210. Light refreshments will be served and the presentation will also be streamed live at livestream.com/eou/colloquium.
Villagómez focuses on considering implications from her own participation in online creative classes as a hobby for her online graduate reading courses, exploring elements of style, organization and content. She also considers challenges of transitioning ideas from one online context to another, and will discuss implementing ideas from the research into her online graduate courses.
