CGOlogo2SALEM, Ore. – College Goal Oregon, a one-day event to help prospective college students and parents learn about financial aid options for college and how to apply, is planned for selected dates this January throughout the state. More than 20 sites are hosting this free financial aid event. (See locations below.)

All prospective students are invited to attend, whether they are high school or returning students. Participants will receive free, on-site help with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, otherwise known as the FAFSA. The FAFSA determines eligibility for need-based federal, state and campus-based financial aid including the Oregon Opportunity Grant. 

Students and parents should bring their previous year’s tax returns. College Goal Oregon Locations and dates are listed below. Please be sure to visit www.CollegeGoalOregon.gov for final dates, specific locations and additional documents to bring to the event.

College Goal Oregon is sponsored by the Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion and is a part of the national College Goal Sunday program to help students access millions of available financial aid dollars.
