Employee Infoline

Infoline is a mandatory email listserv that reaches all faculty, staff and partners of EOU — more than 700 individuals. All employees receive these messages to stay informed about institutional policy and governance, as well as employee benefits, safety notices and university events. Daily emails go to each individual’s institutional email address, and employees may not opt out of Infoline.

University Advancement manages and publishes Infoline. If you have additional questions, call 541-962-3585 or email info@eou.edu.

Other options for getting the word out

Infoline isn’t the right solution for every message – particularly for off-campus events and fundraisers, or if you’re trying to reach students.

Consider these alternative channels that might better suit your needs:

• EastTalk (email message board that reaches 500+ employees and community members; email helpdesk@eou.edu for more information)
• Digital Signs (rotating slides posted on La Grande campus screens; eou.edu/marketing-resources/digital-sinage-submission)
• Student Infoline (exactly what it sounds like; email saffairs@eou.edu to reach students)
• Press release (news story posted online and sent to local media; eou.edu/news-submission)
