Discover the Power of Cinema<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Film Studies provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in film production techniques, such as screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, and sound design as well as internship opportunities to position students towards rewarding career opportunities as filmmakers and digital creators.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to an appreciation of the creative and technical aspects of filmmaking, students pursuing a Film Studies minor gain a comprehensive understanding of the historical development of cinema, studying the major movements, influential directors, seminal works, and groundbreaking technological advancements. The minor illuminates the key theoretical frameworks and critical approaches, enabling students to analyze and interpret films with depth and insight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our facilities include a production stage, new post-production suite, 30 Macs with the latest software, and screening rooms equipped with the latest technologies.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
