Operations Updates & Communication<\/h2>\n\n\n\nFrom the Distribution Department:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The Distribution Department has been experiencing problems with packages being returned due to the ability of the postal system not being able to differentiate the “from” and “to” addresses on the labels. The post office is requiring that we separate the return (“from”) address from the receiving (“to”) address on the labels for packages. This requirement will start immediately. Please see pictures that show examples of the proper way to label the packages<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brightly is Facilities & Planning\u2019s new ticketing system! Here are a few step-by-step instructions on how to put in a work ticket request:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As always if you need additional help don\u2019t hesitate to call Facilities at 962-3255 or 962-3020<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On \u201cmy.EOU Portal\u201d click on the tile that says Facilities Ticketing System & Brightly<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(If this tile doesn\u2019t show on your main page you will need to click on \u201cVIEW ALL CARDS\u201d in the upper right-hand corner and search for Brightly on that page) IF you have an eou.edu email you can enter a ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
IF you do not have an EOU email address contact the IT department at 541-962-3111<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you have clicked on the Brightly tile you will see where you can enter information for your request:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Items marked with an asterisk (*) are required fields. Drop down menus can be used for all choices with the exception of \u201cLocation\u201d here you will need to pick location icon in order to capture the correct location options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When you click on the location icon a \u201cselect location\u201d menu will pop up. Pick a location from the LEFT side menu by clicking on arrow to the left of the asset name:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once the arrow beside the building name is clicked on it will open up to all room choices in that building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Please be as specific as possible with the location and click on the room that pertains to the work order request:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you have click on a room It will look like the picture below with the room highlighted\u2026 Now you choose the single room listed on the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fill in the rest of the required fields\u2026 Under \u201cWork requested\u201d please give as much information as possible so we can be prepared to take care of your work order request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pictures or documents can be added to make your request easier to find and\/or understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you have all the information entered, hit the SAVE button, top left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The ISB Parking Lot replacement project will take place in two phases. Phase 1<\/strong> is expected to be completed by late July<\/strong> and includes the following activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Following these tasks, demolition of the existing parking lot will begin as part of Phase 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please note: The Phase 1 area is closed to all vehicle access<\/strong>. Plan accordingly and follow all posted signage or use alternative parking arrangements. Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this improvement project<\/p>\n\n\n\n The North Hall building envelope replacement project<\/strong> is continuing as scheduled, with key activities taking place throughout the month of July<\/strong>. The contractor will complete siding removal and will begin installing the weather barrier<\/strong> and windows<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of this work, there are ongoing parking impacts<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please plan accordingly and observe all posted signage for alternative parking<\/strong> and access routes<\/strong>. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve campus facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of the Inlow Hall Phase II Generator Replacement<\/strong> project, Avista Natural Gas<\/strong> has successfully completed directional drilling<\/strong> for the installation of a new, upsized natural gas line<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Upcoming work includes sidewalk panel repairs<\/strong> in the affected area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please use caution around the work zone and follow any posted signage for pedestrian detours.
