Student Writers’ Workshop
The English/Writing program hosts the Student Writers’ Workshop for young writers in grades 3-12 on the second Saturday of every March on the Eastern Oregon University campus in La Grande. The next date is March 10, 2018.
Students from across Eastern Oregon, along with teachers, parents, and chaperones, participate in an opening session, write in concurrent sessions with topics such as journalism and poetry, eat lunch in the EOU cafeteria, and celebrate their writing in an open mic.
