Series must be taught over two academic years<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Anthropology<br>(ANTH100)<\/strong><\/td><td>Bachelor\u2019s degree with current Social Science Endorsement. Undergraduate Anthropology coursework is desirable (but not required).<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Biology (BIO101, 102, 103, &amp; 104)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><td>Bachelor of Science in Biology.&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Chemistry CHEM 104Z &amp; 124Z (changing courses from CHEM 101 &amp; 102 by Oregon Transfer Compass)<\/strong><\/td><td>1) Master&#8217;s degree in chemistry\/biochemistry, no teaching experience required, <strong>or<\/strong> 2) Bachelor&#8217;s degree in chemistry\/biochemistry and 1 year&#8217;s teaching experience, or 3)Bachelor&#8217;s degree in a physical or life science and a minor in chemistry and 3 years&#8217; experience teaching chemistry. If a teacher does not meet these requirements, they will be considered on a case by case basis if they have taken a minimum of a full year of general chemistry (not introductory chemistry) and have 5+ years chemistry teaching experience.&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Communications (COM111Z)&nbsp;<\/strong><\/td><td>Bachelor&#8217;s degree with at least one public speaking class in undergrad or beyond.&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Computer Science (CS161 &amp; 162)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><td>Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science or equivalent<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Data Management Using Microsoft Excel (BA169Z &#8211; Formerly BA231)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><td>Proficiency at the Excel Intermediate or Master level. Online courses to obtain proficiency are available.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Early Childhood (ED 129 &amp; 129L)<\/strong><\/td><td>A degree or specialization in ECED is needed<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Future Educators \u00bd &amp; Education Labs (ED 119, ED 139, ED 109)<\/strong><\/td><td>Master\u2019s or equivalent.&nbsp; Must be dedicated to their profession and student advocate, preferably with a culturally responsive lens.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Health and Human Performance (HHP131,CH250, &amp; CH298)&nbsp;<\/strong><\/td><td>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in a health field and a master&#8217;s in teaching or in health.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Community Health (CH) 250 aligns best with a 12th-grade-level personal health class, and CH 298 aligns best with a personal fitness class.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Intro to Business in Global Environment (BA 101)<\/strong><\/td><td>Bachelor\u2019s degree and some business-related coursework (around 9 credits).&nbsp; Business\/industry experience may substitute for coursework<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Mathematics &amp; Statistics (Math 111Z, Math 112Z, Math 251Z, Math 252Z &amp; STAT 243Z)<\/strong><\/td><td>Math 111, 112 (Z\/A\/B) Bachelor\u2019s degree in Math\/Math Ed with Basic or Advanced Endorsement.&nbsp; Math 251\/252 requires Advanced Endorsement.&nbsp; STAT 243 (Z\/A\/B) Bachelor in Math\/Math ED\/Stat.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Medical Terminology (SCI215)&nbsp;<\/strong><\/td><td>Bachelor of Science in Biology. If lacking a BS in Biology, the following college coursework would be required: 1 year sequence of major&#8217;s level Biology with lab as well as the completion of Anatomy and Physiology.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Music Elements &amp; Theory (MUS101 &amp;MUS111)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><td>Bachelor\u2019s in Music.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Oregon Teacher\u2019s Pathway (ED 115)<\/strong><\/td><td>Master\u2019s or equivalent.&nbsp; Must be truly dedicated to their profession and be an advocate for students, preferably with a culturally responsive lens.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Personal Finance and Career Planning (BA 114)<\/strong><\/td><td>Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Spanish (SPAN 107, 108, 109)<\/strong><\/td><td>Master\u2019s degree in teaching or Spanish.&nbsp; Training should include a Methods of Teaching a Foreign Language course.&nbsp; Three years minimum teaching experience at the high school level.&nbsp; Experience living in a Spanish speaking country or near-native Spanish proficiency will be considered.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Success 101\/201 (HUM 103 &amp; HUM 110)<\/strong><\/td><td>Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Questions?
