Students can earn early college credit from Eastern Oregon University through dual credit in their high school or directly from EOU faculty. Active students*<\/strong> only need to submit one application & a financial responsibility form. If your high school has an agreement with EOU to pay for student courses you may not need to complete a financial responsibility form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Active student –<\/strong> A student is considered active if attendance is not interrupted for more than three consecutive terms (not including summer).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dual Credit Courses Available at Participating Schools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All of the dual credit courses available to students count towards actual degrees at EOU! Earning both high school and college credit at the same time gets you closer to earning your degree and starting your career. Start your college degree while in high school and explore fields including psychology, business, computer science, teaching, pre-nursing<\/strong>, and so many more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mountaineer Advantage Programs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mountaineer Advantage Programs, or MAPs, help students, parents and counselors navigate toward a major at EOU. Students progress by directly taking EOU coursework on campus, online or through a local community college. MAPs start at the student\u2019s high school with dual credit coursework and then transition to online\/on campus options from the major checksheet. The list of each major\u2019s 100 and 200 level courses is located at the bottom of each MAP so you can start checking off courses right away. The goal is to make sure students know where they are headed in their education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
