WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:

All students are expected to start their quarantine beginning at 5 p.m. the evening of Friday, Sept. 18, and remain quarantined until test results are returned. Residential students must stay in quarantine until all suitemates have results. Test results are expected to be returned within 72 hours.

EOU will provide a series of virtual events and activities for all students during quarantine.

Residential students will be provided with meal delivery while in quarantine. Off-campus students should prepare to quarantine (food prep, delivery, etc.) until results are received.

Students in quarantine should:

  • Stay in their living spaces (suite, apartment or house)
  • Only go out for essential items that cannot be delivered (prescription medicine, etc.)
  • Minimize in-person interaction with other people (including suitemates/roommates)

If any on-campus residential students test positive for COVID-19, they will be immediately moved to isolation rooms. If any off-campus students test positive, they will be required to isolate at their off-campus location.

Contact Student Affairs at saffairs@eou.edu if you have questions or concerns.
