Dear EOU Community, 

For this week’s Friday COVID Update, we have a few health notices for on-campus employees as the university prepares for a successful 2021-22 academic year. 

1. Vaccination Option Survey in Mountie Hub closes August 11

Thank you to the many employees who have completed the Mountie Hub survey, indicating your plans for submitting proof of vaccination or requesting an exemption. If you have not yet completed the survey, please do so before next Wednesday, August 11. 

2. Daily self-check required prior to arriving on campus

Remember to complete the Daily Self-Check in Mountie Hub each day before you arrive on campus. This is a key step in maintaining the health and safety of our university community. 

3. Stay home if you feel ill

If you’re experiencing any symptoms of illness, stay home and do not come to campus. Contact your supervisor or the Human Resources department, and avoid interactions with others. If you have questions about sick leave, contact HR at hr-group@eou.edu.

As the global COVID situation continues to evolve, basic behaviors like hand-washing and wearing a mask indoors continue to be important. EOU encourages all employees and partners to get vaccinated if they’re able.
