FAQ and Feedback form on updated website
A new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) feature has been added to a revised and updated eou.edu/coronavirus website. This ongoing list covers queries from students, faculty and staff. The website also has a new “Questions and Concerns” form. These inquiries may be included in future FAQ updates or directly answered as needed.
Telework Software Training
In response to inquiries about working remotely, the IT Department has put together some training resources to assist with the transition to working remotely as needed.
Zoom Video Conferencing Training: 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 19
With the push for more social distancing, EOU staff, supervisors, shared governance committees,and other groups will need the ability to meet without risking the spread of viruses. With Zoom, EOU gets access to an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, collaboration, chat and webinars across mobile devices, desktops and other devices.
Microsoft Office 365 Training: 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 19
In addition to Google Apps like Docs, Sheets and Slides, EOU also has Microsoft Office 365 available for EOU staff and faculty to use. Office 365 allows users to access applications like Word, Excel, Powerpoint and others on a web browser or via download on a personal computer.
