His education includes a B.A. in Chinese Literature (1987), an M.A. in Journalism (1994) and a Ph.D. in Mass Communication &amp; Public Affairs (2006). He worked as a reporter, editor, designer and public relations writer in Beijing for seven years before he moved to the US in 2002. In the past 10 years, he taught over 10 courses in mass media and human communication. His research interests include international public relations, media technology and cultural studies. He published a research paper in peer-review journals and presented 15 papers in national and international conferences.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Jillene Krause<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jillene Krause is a Visiting Assistant Professor specializing in Organizational Communication. Krause holds a Doctorate in Communication from North Dakota State University, a Master and Bachelor of Communication from University at Buffalo, SUNY, as well as an Associates of Applied Arts in Music Business from the Art Institute of Seattle. She has 13 years\u2019 experience teaching in-person and online classes at North Dakota State University, Central Washington University, Great Falls College \u2013 Montana State University, Northwest College, Flathead Valley Community College, and Pensacola State College.<br><br>Dr. Krause previously worked for 12 years in radio broadcasting as a news\/weather\/traffic reporter, sales assistant, promotions assistant, and on-air personality\/voice over artist. Her time in radio inspired her focus in Organizational Communication as well as her dissertation research on sexual harassment and employee identification in radio broadcasting companies.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Kevin Roy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kevin Roy is a professor of communication studies, new media artist and experimental filmmaker exploring the intersections of digital technologies and analog media. Professor Roy received a BA in Art History from the University of Georgia (1995) and following a decade of professional work in the film and interactive media industries, received an MFA in Studio Art with a concentration in digital media and filmmaking, also from the University of Georgia (2005).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His work in film and new media has been exhibited in national and international film festivals and venues including the University Film and Video Association, SXSW, the Museum of Modern Art, the Chicago Film Society, the Northwest Film Forum, the Big Muddy Digital Film Festival and the Atlanta Film Festival. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kevinroy.com\">www.kevinroy.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Tiara Good<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tiara Good is a professor of communication and media studies with focuses in popular culture, the opioid epidemic, pain, law, media, technology, public memory, and visual rhetoric. She received her degrees in rhetoric and media from Willamette University (B.A.), Syracuse University (M.A.), and The Pennsylvania State University (Ph.D.).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has published in communication and media journals about popular culture&#8211;including the horror genre, baseball, and the opioid epidemic. His areas of expertise include interpersonal, public speaking, interviewing and leadership communication. He is also a consultant, providing executive level training for state public safety departments, with fire and police academies in Washington, Oregon and Idaho recognizing his expertise. Chris\u00a0also worked in the maritime industry as an able seaman and commercial diver. Her background in professional theatre informs her research interests in nonverbal communication and oral interpretation. An avid traveler, she has taken students on cultural excursions to countries all over the world. At EOU, she has received the Distinguished Faculty Award, the PCSW Women of Courage and Vision Award and many Kennedy Center Meritorious Achievement awards. She holds a B.A. from Montana State University and an M.F.A. from Rutgers University-Mason Gross School of the Arts.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"well\">\n<strong>Kevin Roy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kevin Roy is an associate professor and media artist exploring the intersections of digital technologies and traditional media.
