This forward-thinking program reflects Oregon\u2019s commitment to ensuring that every student has access to meaningful outdoor learning experiences grounded in environmental literacy, stewardship, and applied science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-eastern-navy-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/college-of-education\/teaching-license-endorsements\/environmental-education-certificate\/\" style=\"border-top-left-radius:0px;border-top-right-radius:0px;border-bottom-left-radius:0px;border-bottom-right-radius:0px\">Environmental Education Information<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ESOL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ESOL program (equal to a year of preparation) is designed for those seeking an endorsement in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at a graduate or undergraduate level.&nbsp; Candidates may add this endorsement to a license by completing the course of study, including 60 clock hours of practicum, and obtaining a passing score on&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.orela.nesinc.com\/TestView.aspx?f=HTML_FRAG\/NT507_TestPage.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NES ESOL<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-eastern-navy-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/college-of-education\/teaching-license-endorsements\/english-for-speakers-of-other-languages-endorsement\/\" style=\"border-top-left-radius:0px;border-top-right-radius:0px;border-bottom-left-radius:0px;border-bottom-right-radius:0px\">ESOL Endorsement Information<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reading<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eastern Oregon University\u2019s Graduate Literacy program is designed to support those seeking the Reading Intervention endorsement to an Oregon license. Candidates may add this endorsement to a license by completing the reading program coursework, including 90 hours of practicum, and obtaining a passing score on a state-approved content exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-eastern-navy-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/college-of-education\/teaching-license-endorsements\/graduate-reading-endorsement\/\" style=\"border-top-left-radius:0px;border-top-right-radius:0px;border-bottom-left-radius:0px;border-bottom-right-radius:0px\">Reading Endorsement Information<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Special Education<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eastern Oregon University offers teachers who possess a teaching license the opportunity to pursue their Special Education endorsement. Coursework in the endorsement program may be applied to a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/master-of-science\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Master\u2019s of Science<\/a>&nbsp;degree in Education, or the endorsement can be pursued on its own. &nbsp;The Special Educator endorsement is required to teach learners with disabilities in the state of Oregon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-eastern-navy-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/college-of-education\/teaching-license-endorsements\/special-educator-endorsement\/\" style=\"border-top-left-radius:0px;border-top-right-radius:0px;border-bottom-left-radius:0px;border-bottom-right-radius:0px\">Special Education Endorsement Information<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trauma in Educational Communities Experimental Specialization<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Trauma in Educational Communities program at Eastern Oregon University, designed for teachers with an Oregon license, is the only program in the state to offer a Trauma-Informed Practices Specialization program.
