    Dr. Shari Carpenter comes to eastern Oregon from the Midwest. A dairy farmer, she grew up with animals and fell in love with horses. While earning degrees from Purdue, she founded an advertising agency and developed a passion for marketing and human motivation as well as Martial Arts. A 2nd Degree Blackbelt and instructor in Chung Moo Doe Martial Arts, she has also taught general martial arts and self-defense classes.Since moving to eastern Oregon, Dr. Carpenter has become entrenched in the ranching community and ranch riding as well as competing in regional Ranch Sorting events.As a professor in the marketing concentration, Dr. Carpenter brings her passion for marketing to her classrooms. Her background in business helps her to deliver practical knowledge and skills that students can easily apply. Through courses in Human Resources, she applies her passion for motivating individuals to help them achieve their professional and educational goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
