Dr. Wilson Zehr joined the faculty in the College of Business at Eastern Oregon University in Fall 2015. He has over a decade of university teaching experience having taught courses in marketing, finance, innovation, entrepreneurship, and business strategy for Northeastern University (Boston, MA), Oregon State University (Corvallis, OR), Portland State University (Portland, OR), Concordia University (Portland, OR), and Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok, Thailand).

Wilson’s career in industry spans more than 25 years in technology and telecom. He started his career as a Software Engineer, and then moved into full lifecycle product marketing, program management, strategic alliances, and executive leadership (CEO before 40). As a successful entrepreneur, he has participated in or started eight technology startups and consulted on dozens of successful early stage companies.

Wilson’s research interests include market-based innovation, entrepreneurship, strategic marketing, emerging technology, hybrid business models, analytical decision models, and business strategy.
