Dr. Michael Fakutiju

Michael Fakutiju is a faculty member in the College of Business. After graduating from the University of Ado, Nigeria, Michael worked in the Nigerian banking sector, where he became a member of the middle management staff. Michael has always had a passion for teaching. Thus, he returned to school and earned his M.A. in Economics with Econometrics concentrations from New Mexico Sate University. He also earned his Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Mississippi State University. His research areas include but are not limited to Development Economics, Macroeconomics, Internal Economics, and Applied Microeconomics. His work in progress is: The Impact of Aid Types on Developing Countries.

His Hobbies include playing and watching soccer games. He also likes watching basketball and volleyball game.
