Kerri Wenger has been privileged to work with future and practicing teachers at EOU’s Ontario onsite program since 1998. She has been an ESL, foreign language, and mainstream classroom teacher. Her research focuses on education in culturally and linguistically diverse rural settings. She and her colleagues have published many research and practitioner articles in the areas of pre-service teacher education, first and second language classroom discourse, and preparing rural teachers for diversity. She serves as a reviewer of qualitative and ethnographic research for the Journal of Research in Rural Education, Teacher Education Quarterly, and the Journal of Teacher Education.  She loves cooking, dancing, and chasing livestock on her family’s farm – though not all at the same time.
