Donald Easton-Brooks Ph.D. is the Dean of the Colleges of Business and Education. Dr. Easton-Brooks has over 10 years experiences in higher education administration at research universities, comprehensive community colleges, and mid-size public and private institutions. His research and publications have explored topics in economics, academic achievement, educational policy, cultural relevancy, and leadership. His research has been used to influence educational policy both nationally and internationally. Related to his scholarship, Dr. Easton-Brooks has been asked to serve on local, state, and national committees, including the U.S. Department of Education. He is also a Board Member of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Dr. Easton-Brooks believes that quality academic programs are those that assist in moving society forward by providing effective programs that respond to the needs and demands of individuals and the community.
