LA GRANDE, Ore. (EOU) – The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education has reaffirmed the accreditation status of Eastern Oregon University’s College of Business.

Continued accreditation validates EOU is offering high-quality education in one of its most popular fields of study.

“This signifies the hard work of our dedicated faculty and staff and demonstrates that our business programs are on the right track,” said Dr. Donald Easton-Brooks, dean of the Colleges of Business and Education.

Bob Davies, EOU president, echoed the dean’s praise, stating reaffirmation is a reflection of the quality and caliber of employees and students within the college.

“Our faculty and staff worked tirelessly throughout this process and I am grateful for their continued efforts and leadership in serving our students, and ultimately, our region,” Davies said. “I am extremely pleased with the overall report and its commendations and recommendations.”

IACBE accreditation is specialized and unique to EOU’s business programs. The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities also accredits the university as a whole.

EOU students can earn a bachelor’s and master degree in business administration or an associate of arts in administrative management, all fully accredited. A business minor and certificate in office management are also available.

Concentrations within the bachelor’s program include leadership, organization and management, marketing, accounting and general business. Courses are offered on campus, online and at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham.
