The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) has identified eight career competencies: career & self development, communication, critical thinking, equity & inclusion, leadership, professionalism, teamwork, and technology. EOU provides opportunities for our students to engage in on-campus student employment throughout their educational journey. Being a student employee is a great way to build essential career skills and engage in career exploration.

Academic Credit

Pursue your degree and be intentional about your coursework. Taking courses in areas of interest provides students with the opportunity to explore potential career paths, gain knowledge, and meet peers with like interests.
