Missing a course in Blackboard?
Please be aware…
Most courses will not be visible to you in Blackboard until the first day of the term, although some of your instructors may open their courses early. No course will ever be visible to you in Blackboard more than 14 days in advance of the first day of a term. If you register for a course after the first day of a term, that course will not immediately show up in Blackboard. Your registration data is updated twice per working day: once in the morning and once in the afternoon. If, for example, you register for a class on a Tuesday evening, you may not see it Blackboard until Wednesday afternoon.
Check with your course instructor
If a course you registered for is not showing up in Blackboard after the start of the term, then it is possible that the instructor has not made that course visible to the students. This can be due to a number of reasons. For instance, not all instructors utilize Blackboard for their courses. Also, some courses, such as Weekend College courses, begin several weeks into the term.
Contact your instructor and they will be able to verify whether the course should be visible to you in Blackboard. If you are enrolled in the course, the instructor has made the course available, and you still cannot see the link to that course in Blackboard, please submit at ticket to EOU Helpdesk.Share:
