Her memoir <em>Drawing to An Inside Straight<\/em> (University of Missouri Press) was a finalist for\u00a0 the Willa Award. Her translations from the Chinese of Li He are collected in <em>The Rock\u2019s Cold Breath<\/em> (Ice River). She teaches Creative Writing at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon, where she co-directs the Low Residency MFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ben Mitchell<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Ben Mitchell, an independent curator and writer, is the author of <em>Jewelry of Ken Cory: Play Disguised<\/em> (University of Washington Press). He also edited and introduced the exquisitely beautiful volume <em>Ruben Trejo: Beyond Boundaries\/Aztlan y Mas Alla<\/em> (University of Washington Press), and <em>Ric Gendron: Rattlebone<\/em> (Missoula Art Museum, University of Washington Press). He divides his time between the northern Idaho Rockies and southwest Michigan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">David Axelrod<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>David Axelrod\u2019s most recent book, <em>Folly,<\/em> appeared early in 2014. His collection of cultural and environmental essays about the interior Northwest, <em>Troubled Intimacies<\/em>, appeared in 2004. He teaches Creative Writing at Eastern Oregon University, where he co-directs the Low Residency MFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">James Crews<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">James Crews has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His work has appeared in <em>Ploughshares<\/em>,<\/span><em> Prairie Schooner<\/em>, <em>Crab Orchard Review<\/em>, <em>Best<\/em><em> New Poets<\/em> <em>2009<\/em> as well as other journals. His collection of poems,<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em> The Book of What <\/em><em>Stays<\/em>, recently won the Prairie Schooner Book Prize and was published by the University of Nebraska Press in 2011.
