“Eastern Oregon Regional High School Art Exhibition” opens February 19

The Nightingale Gallery at Eastern Oregon University presents the “Eastern Oregon Regional High School Art Exhibition” opening Friday, Feb. 19. A reception is from 6-8 p.m. in the gallery in Loso Hall. Awards will be presented at 6:30. The annual exhibition gives audiences the opportunity to encounter the work of students from high schools throughout the area including La Grande, Baker City, Grant Union, Joseph, North Powder, Vale and Union. The Nightingale Gallery at Eastern Oregon University rings in 2016 with a solo exhibition of paintings by Pendleton artist Nika Blasser. “Shadows of the Floating World” opens with a reception for the artist from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8 in the gallery in Loso Hall. The Visual Art League at Eastern Oregon University will present its Abandoned and Begged-For Art Auction on November 17th at 7:00 PM in the Loso Hall lobby on the Eastern Oregon University campus.
