Favorite memory of college so far: <\/strong>Getting involved with the theatre department and being cast in the traveling show my junior year.

Advice to give new students:<\/strong> Work hard, have fun, communicate with your advisors, professors, and faculty when you have questions!

Why did you choose EOU? <\/strong>Because I grew up in a small town and went to a really small school, I still wanted that feeling that everyone knows each other and Eastern definitely offered that. I didn\u2019t want to feel lost and was really drawn to how small the class sizes are.
Favorite activity at EOU: <\/strong>The Outdoor Program! I love to take their classes and rent gear from them.
Favorite activity in the La Grande community: <\/strong>Volunteering at the Haven from Hunger food bank and Union County Warming Station. I also love to go skiing and hiking at Anthony Lakes, Mt. Emily, and Morgan Lake.
Advice to give new students: <\/strong>Talk to your professors and don\u2019t be afraid to ask for help. They truly care about you so don\u2019t be shy when it comes to reaching out to them for help inside or outside the classroom.
Favorite hangout spot on campus: <\/strong>The admissions office with Jeff!
Favorite memory of college so far: <\/strong>Studying abroad in Southeast Asia fall 2019. We traveled to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
I\u2019m an ambassador because\u2026 <\/strong>I love sharing my story to prospective students and helping them see how amazing Eastern is. It really has been my rock and taught me how to be successful in and out of the classroom. There are so many amazing opportunities here and I want students to know about them!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Favorite memory of college so far: <\/strong>WOW week! I missed out because I tranferred in but got to experience all the fun team building activities as a leader.

Why do you work at EOU?<\/strong>As a student, I loved my experiences at EOU and in the community. I want to continue living in an area of Oregon that I love and help other students find Eastern so they have the opportunity to create fond memories in our valley!
Favorite memory of EOU:<\/strong> Fall term of my freshman year, there were five of us friends sitting in the common area of Dorion Hall (now Dorion Park) just laughing! I don\u2019t remember how it started but once we all started laughing we couldn\u2019t stop and it lasted for at least a half-hour.
