ILS 503- Paper on Sarah Agnew

ILS 582- My supervisor, Theresa Gillis, helped me learn how to conduct the reference interview and to make no judgments about a patron's information request while I worked with here in library science practice

ILS 561- In discussions in the Public LIbraries class, we dealt with issues of censorship and the Library Bill of Rights. Being a school librarian has prepared me in censorship issues. I have had one library book reconsideration in my thirty years' experience.We also discussed politics on the job and dealing with board members who may try to assert personal privilege in exchange for grants and gifts to the library.

ILS 519- In assignments for the Acquisitions course, we dealt with the ethics of accepting gifts from vendors, doing business with vendors who have unscrupulous pasts, and professional ethics in the workplace.

ILS 582 - Reference experience and electronic reference experience was gained in Library Science Practice. I worked for the term handling reference questions from patrons at Pierce Library.

ILS 655 - In my work with the Oral History of the Grande Ronde digital library project, I worked with members of the community and a group of colleagues on campus to write grant proposals for a collaborative extension involving five other institutions.

ILS 561 - Interview with Bob Jones led me to working with the Eastern Oregon Library Association and a chance to meet many library directors, librarians and staff members of the region. I was elected President in 2007.
