Scholarship Information

- Merit Scholarships- University Scholar, Valedictorian scholarships are awarded to students when they apply for admissions based on their GPA and SAT/ACT test scores. Students must apply for Admissions to EOU no later than February 1st of the year they are applying as a freshman to qualify. Scholarships are renewable for 12 terms or 4 years at EOU.
- Art/Music/Theatre Departmental Awards- Performance based scholarship dollars awarded by the individual department instructors.
- Athletic Talent Scholarships- Performance based scholarship dollars awarded by the team coaching staff.
- International Scholarships- Scholarships for International Students to assist with the cost of tuition. Annual application process runs through the International Programs Office with a February 1st deadline.
- Diversity Achievement Scholarship- To increase diversity on EOU’s campus through a student’s commitment to increasing or supporting the growth of diversity in their community or surroundings, students diversity in background including first generation, low income, ethnic differences as well as students that have unique experiences to share. Application deadline is February 1st.
- EOU Foundation Scholarship Application- The Foundation Scholarship application is a one page application form for the 30+ scholarship funds created by private donors to the EOU Foundation. Each scholarship has individual criteria that the application screens students for. The deadline each year is February 1st.
- Service to Country Scholarship- A scholarship for service men and women that have served or are currently serving in a branch of the armed forces. Students must file a FAFSA to determine eligibility for any federal funding by March 1st each year to qualify. Students that have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA, complete the application and provide required supporting documentation while attending 51% of their courses online will receive up to 15 credit hours per term toward the cost of tuition.
- Transfer Merit Scholarship- Merit based scholarship to new transfer students based on a minimum 3.0 transfer GPA to EOU. Students must apply by June 1 for Fall Term, December 1 for Winter Term and March 1 for Spring Term. Scholarships are renewable for up to 6 terms or 2 years at EOU.
- Transfer Need Scholarship- Need based scholarship for new transfer students based on the students need as determined by the FAFSA. Student must file the FAFSA by March 1st and complete the Transfer Scholarship application by June 1 for Fall Term, December 1 for Winter Term, and March 1 for Spring Term.
