Eastern Oregon University’s Disability Services Program provides students with disabilities equal access for successfully meeting their academic needs and higher education goals.
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act protects persons with disabilities from discrimination and ensures that they are provided with access to major life activities including learning.
The Disability Services Office provides services to any enrolled student who has a documented physical, psychological and/or learning disability that affects the student’s academic performance. An example of the documentation includes a letter or report from a qualified professional—physician, psychologist, or learning specialist.
Reasonable accommodations are provided on an individual basis each term according to the courses in which you are enrolled. Examples of Accommodations:
