Outcomes:

Students will extend their knowledge of women's history and gender issues.

Students will synthesize and analyze the knowledge they have gained and
connect it to their lives.
Means of Assessment:

Attendance at at least 10 hours of International Women's Week events (see
schedule
and
attendance form)

Minimum 5-page essay describing the events, making connections among them,
and relating those events to their previous experiences
Grading information,
rules, and guidelines common to all my syllabi
Deadline for submission of completed attendance form and essay: March
15
Credit will be awarded in Spring Term 2004
