Thank you for visiting the EOU English 104 Blog Party Headquarters. As an effort to have a public dialogue about reading and literature in an electronic format, our class is hosting a Blog Party and inviting family, friends, and other members of the public to visit the blogs we have been developing this term and to participate with us in discussion of issues related to reading and literature.

Our blog sites are listed below. Most should have the results of the Blog Party Inquiry Project posted at the top. The Inquiry Project asked participants to develop and explore a question of interest to them related to reading and/or literature.

Beginning on November 21 and through the following week, please read one or more inquiry posts and post a question or comment in response. Participate in asynchronous dialogue by checking back to see what the blogger has to say in response and responding to him or her. Feel free also to browse through the blog archive for other posts of interest to you and comment on them.

It should go without saying that posts on these blogs should be respectful, but respectful disagreement is encouraged.

For those new to blogging, almost all the blogs below are hosted by Blogger. This service requires a Google account for access.

If you have a Google account,

1. Visit a blog,
2. Click on Sign In up in the top right-hand corner,
3. Fill in your email address and Google password.

If you don’t have a Google account,

1. Visit a blog.
2. Click on Sign In up in the top right-hand corner.
3. Click Sign In.
4. Click on “create an account now.”
5. Complete the form. The “Display Name” is the name that shows up when you make posts

To respond to posts on blogs, click on the comments link at the bottom of the post.
