This video is about various types of severe storms. A storm is
considered severe if it supplies winds of 75 miles per hour or
greater and hail that is 3/4 inch in diameter or larger. At any
given moment their are about 2000 severe storms in progress somewhere
in the Earth's atmosphere. About 100,000 storms hit the USA each
year and about 10,000 of these storms become classified as severe.
The one aspect of associated with sever storms that kills more
people than any other is flash flooding, especially at night.
Remember more people are killed by flash floods each year than
any other severe storm element! Don't drive into swollen rivers
or flooded streets, especially at night.
